hi all . Was due. To test Friday ( taking cyclogest pessaries morning and night after fresher transfer 8 days ago . Now took period ( which is horrendous pain )
Did anyone else take a period whilst using the cylogest as I thought it was meant to stop periods x
Hi Thom. I think in spite of what has happened, you should still test on Friday, even if only one embryo was transferred. I hope you have plenty of support around you just now. It’s safe to have regular paracetamol for the pain. Thinking of you. Diane
I had this on my first fresh transfer. I have been given additional progesterone following subsequent transfers and have not had the same issue again. Hope you are alright and managing the pain OK.
Hi, I had bleeding before my OTD on my first 2 transfers. Second 2 I didn’t although still BFN. I was told on here that progesterone was supposed to stop bleeding however my clinic haven’t changed my meds. Sorry that’s probably not much help. My OTD in this 4th transfer is today but I tested early and got BFN so I understand how you are feeling. This is such a complicated horrible journey isn’t it 😔 x
It most certainly is . The pain is unbearable. It’s like period pain x 50 . Now started vomiting with pain so just leaving work . Hopefully our good luck is to come ❤️ Can I ask how many embryos you got on 1st round xx
Oh no. I just had the bleeding and not really worse than normal period pains. Hope it subsides soon. I am using donor eggs and got 3 embryos first round. Second round with new donors I got 7!! Do you have any Frosties? X
I’m so sorry 😢 yeah I’ve had it a few times added in lubion and that stopped the periods before test day xx
