Wait after bfn FET

Hii was wondering if anybody knows what's the wait for another FET?

Our first FET was bfn, I had the bleed 3 weeks ago and waiting for the period now. I have a follow up appointment on Wednesday but I just wonder how long did people wait with the second FET? Or can we jump straight into it?

I'm sorry it didn't work this time. We're private and after a negative we went straight into another, I don't think there's any reason you can't physically, it's pretty much like a normal cycle, I think it's bureaucracy that can hold things up. Fingers crossed next one is your time xxx

After the bleed you can start on your next proper period (unless you’re having tests done in between rounds?) My FET has failed, official test day is Tuesday but it’s currently negative so that’s it really. Debating whether to go again in October or do ERA and then probably won’t start until December. I am so impatient! Want to start yesterday!! Third failed FET in a row so feeling shite if I’m honest. Big hugs to you. This whole thing is an effing nightmare 😞

It stands for Endometrial Receptivity Analysis. You do a mock cycle taking all the medication etc but on what would have been embryo transfer day they take a small biopsy of the womb lining and test it to see if the womb is ready and the conditions are optimal for an embryo to implant. It might mean adjusting medication or transfer days. After reading positive feedback from others I think I will ask to have it done next month and then go from there. It might help to rule things out at the very least. Xx

I had a chemical after the last fresh and wanted to start again straight away - the clinic said I needed to have the bleed from that then could start the FET cycle on the next natural period. I think on the NHS they want you to wait one extra month so you start on your second natural period. This one's been successful so far so I don't think there's a particular reason to wait, unless you feel you need it.

Thank you. The timings are never right with that sort of thing but we have a weeding abroad in October and i would like to go. Hopefully we will sort it out x

I did mine with private clinic and after a failed FET in December (otd 16th dec) our 2nd transfer was 31st March. It seemed like forever to wait at the time but our 2nd we did long protocol with buseralin down regulation and it worked! Good luck x
