I had my 5 day transfer yesterday - which went well. But today I feel so so down in the dumps and just in a major negative head space, I have really had period pains and achy legs like I get before my period. Not sure how I’m going to survive this 2ww.
Has anyone felt period pains so early and had a positive result? 🤞🏼😔
Hi I had period pains for most of 2ww convinced myself and husband it hadn't worked and waited for AF to come, it didn't and now I am 36 weeks. Try to find something to keep your mind busy like binge watching something, reading a book, try a new hobby, plan nice treats for yourself and partner. Anything that focuses and occupies your mind. Don't test until OTD as you'll just create more anxiety for yourself. Good luck 👍
congratulations starsallround! That’s so exciting. Thank you for the positivity ❤️ going to drag myself out of bed soon and go for a walk. It’s such a rollercoaster isn’t it - I think when you’ve felt this period pain for 3 years with no positive result, it’s hard to convince your brain otherwise. 😞 xxx
Hey! Hang in there, these mood swings are normal. If you are on progesterone, the cramps are most probably because of that... plus the transfer itself, the catheter and all, those can also cause some cramps. Tell your dr about them as well, maybe he/she recommends something for this. Don't lose hope, try to keep yourself occupied with other things throughout the 2ww. Fingers crossed and baby dust to you!🙏🤗
thank you Aninha85 - I am on 3 x utrogestan pessaries a day and I started cramping a bit before my transfer, it just seems to have got worse. I guess I can put it down to the pessaries but will drop the doctor a note and see what they say. Thank you xxx
hey I had a frozen embryo transfer yesterday, I have absolutely no cramping, discomfort or any symptoms at all however with my fresh embryo transfer I felt sharp pains as soon as it was done , cramping etc I just think everyone and every transfer is different try to stay positive I am doing meditation, gentle yoga and reading a new book to help pass the time ! Good luck
