Has anybody got experience of taking Mebendazole (Ovez) whilst taking oestrogen for a FET?
My clinic have initially advised that as long as I stop a course of Mebendazole (Ovez) before my frozen transfer it will be ok, but I'll have to cancel my cycle if I need to take it after transfer.
However I'm not sure if it's been taken into account that there may be a interaction between Mebendazole (Ovez) and oestrogen which may mean the oestrogen doesn't work so well.
My clinic says I should check with my GP.
My GP tells me to consult with the pharmacist and the pharmacist tells me to speak to the GP! 🥴 😵
I'll be transferring my last 2 embryos so can't get this wrong! Any experiences or advice you've been given to share?
Hope all is well with everyone and this is a bumper week for the luck coming through 🙏

I don't want to read and run. Unfortunately, I have no idea if they can interact with each other. I hope someone who has been in your situation can help. It is frustrating when drs, and pharmacist keep pushing you back and forth.
I don’t have an idea either but hope someone does 🤞
I don’t know the answer. But it might be worth speaking to a pharmacist as they will probably have greater understanding of the interactions. Good luck with the transfer
Thanks everyone 🙂 I was confused as a pharmacist mentioned the oestrogen interaction but I couldn't find anything online saying that. My clinic have said it's ok to take the medication before transfer but not after. But after all that I think it's a false alarm and I don't even need the medication! I need to get this round right as it's my last with own eggs and I think I'm stressing over everything! x
