I had my endometrial biopsy last month (results were normal). I spotted after the biopsy up until 6 days later (14/09/23) my period started.
I’ve been waiting for my next period, I’m 7 days late and pregnancy test is negative. I had an operation, post period in Sept for another problem. Has the stress of the surgery delayed my period, am I peri menopausal (I’m 41) I’m confused. I’ve never missed a period since I started then in my teens. Always regular - like clockwork. Anyone else had this happen to them? Am I panicking for no reason, I was hoping to go through another IVF round in a few months xx

The recent surgery and stress can often have an effect on your menstrual cycle If still no period after week or two maybe you should get in touch with GP/clinic for advice
The team at Coventry told me to potentially expected an early or late cycle directly after and maybe even the one after that post-biopsy. Also the stress of panicking about where your period is can cause it to be delayed. We can't win can we!! Hopefully it will come soon, obvs keep testing just in case (unless you didn't try this cycle in which case no need to waste tests).
Looking back my cycle was 24 days (waaaay shorter than usual) straight after the biopsy then 31 days after that (more around what I'm used to but still different in comparison) xx
Thanks for your response. I’m coming to the conclusion it maybe the combination of the two the surgery and biopsy. I’ve surprising had a light bleed so fingers crossed it becomes a full flow xx
