hello, 46 yo trying IVF by egg donation. Today is day 13 post transfer and I may need to leave to go home due to threat of war, before the 15th day blood/echo date. I have a “BioSynex” (french) at home test with me. Is it at all useful to take the at home test now? The only real difference I see, provided the test is reliable at this point, is how careful I am with rest and carrying luggage and all that, but also in terms of meds I take back with me (I wasn’t able to find all of them the first time around). So, I guess the real question is:
1- is day 13 too early to take an at home test? Egg donation IVF, 3 embryo fresh transfer
2- what happens in case there is no pregnancy from a medication perspective? Do I continue the progesterone, oestrogen etc, or no need?
Yesterday i carried about 2 kgs worth of groceries and played around with the dog a bit. I know that was not the smartest move. I woke up this morning with heavy cramps and took 2 Spafson to calm things down a bit. What signs should I be looking for?

Thank you. I ended up taking the test… and it was a solid positive even by the Dr’s admission. He increased some of the muscle relaxing meds as well as the injections to help the pregnancy stick. Hoping to see him in the next 24 hrs to get my echo + blood tests done. Thank you for the support!
thank you both. Blood tests came back overwhelmingly positive.
In case this is helpful to anyone: many blogs were confusing as to whether at home urine tests were useful at all given they can give false positives and negatives because they could be detecting some of the hormones introduced by the meds rather than the pregnancy. It turns out, that’s applicable at the beginning of the pregnancy, and transfer day + 12 onwards would be a good time frame to take an at home test. This is based on several conversations and research but please discuss with your Dr.
