Hello! I am just looking for wisdom, insight, assurance!
I am day 6 post frozen embryos transfer and am trying not to obsess! I had an ectopic earlier in the year which knocked me sideways but I’ve felt mainly postive about the treatment and success but having a wobble today.
Should I be feeling many symptoms? I had a lower back ache and panicked it was ectopic but surely any signs are too soon?
Any advice etc welcome! Thanks x

Hi, I'm also 6 days post transfer on FET. This is my third round and second frozen. No pregnancies of any type. I have also had back ache the last 48 hours with some cramping. I found last time (and seems to be the same this time) that I have more mild symptoms with the drugs on the frozen cycles. Sore boobs, back ache, cramping. These are all meant to be positive signs - apparently cramping and back ache can mean successful implantation at this stage - and I convinced myself last time these were all symptoms of a positive result. But it was negative, and my symptoms were caused by the drugs and stopped within 24 hours of taking the medication. On my fresh cycle I had zero symptoms and then a massive bleed starting day 7 post transfer. I know some people have zero symptoms and get a positive result, others loads of symptoms and get a negative. My experience is that it isn't possible to say at this stage what is real and what is a side effect of the drugs. So I just tell myself it could be a positive sign (it might be!) and try not to worry. Good luck
Thank you so much. I think you’re right - just stay positive until proven wrong. Every body is different to another. Just wish someone could tell us one way or another!! The 2ww is excruciating!! Thanks for replying x
Hi, I certainly know how you feel! I am currently 12dp (otd tomorrow) and my only pregnancy was ectopic. How is your lower back now, hope any discomfort has eased. I definitely have had some twinges, and what I would describe as really light stabbing but not painful very briefly around day 5. I think it is normal with your body potentially stretching... when I had it I just sat down, did some deep breathing and tried to do something else to take my focus and relax, easier said than done I know. I find listening to something helpful though. It is really hard not to symptom spot and be on high alert. As silly as it may sound to some, I told my husband that whilst I would really like this to work at the very least I am really hoping to not have another ectopic as to me that worries me more than another negative.
Wishing you all the best over the coming week and that you get a positive outcome x
I said something similar to my husband -I can’t go through an ectopic again 😞
My back pain has passed now but that makes me panic too!
This forum is already helping because just chatting to someone who is physically going through the same stage helps - as brilliant as my husband is, he can’t get it.
I totally agree, my husband tries to read into things too if I make the slightest comment and I tell him to stop... haha he means soo well but has no idea really.
The forum is really good, just to scroll through and read other stories similar because as nice as friends can be they just won't get it unless they have lived it.
Glad your back ache has passed, hope you can take it as a positive sign and that you get more along the way x
I agree with FlowerGem115 about taking a minute when things hurt/are uncomfortable to acknowledge it and let it pass and then distract yourself as best as possible. I only recently joined here but I have been finding it really helpful to listen to podcasts like BFN/'Big Fat Negative' and 'Am I Ovary Reacting' too. While it isn't quite the same as this, just hearing real people talk about their similar experiences has helped me.
I am in the same boat. I had mild cramping the first few days but absolutely nothing now. I feel totally normal which is making me think there is no chance it could have worked. I would love to feel some nausea or something!
