5 days post 3 day transfer- no symptoms??

hi lovely people! I am new here 🙂

I am going through a fresh IVF round. I had a day 3 8-cell grade 1 transfer but don’t feel any symptoms. The first two days after transfer I had a few pains, really sore boobs but I think they may be the cyclogest rather than any signs.

This is my 6th cycle and 1st one post ectopic pregnancy so praying it works. I’ve never had a day 3 transfer before so if anyone could give any experience if what they did or didn’t feel around day 5/6 after the transfer that would be so helpful! Thank you!! Losing my mind slightly!

Hi Lovely. Hang in there, it's super early, especially with a day 3 transfer. You're absolutely right, any symptoms at this point will be due to the meds. I'm really hoping for a good outcome for you! You've had such a tough run of it 😔🥰 Try to distract yourself with something, and just look after yourself, eat well etc. It's out of your hands now 💕 Try to stay positive xx

AuroraXen - thank you so much for the positive message! Good to know- in all my rounds I’ve never done day 3 so reading into every little twinge. Trying to stay as positive as possible! I’ve just seen your journey- you are incredibly strong! The strength the failed cycles build is incredible- and you must stay hopeful❤️. I have everything crossed for your journey too x

Hi JasmineW. It can take up to 6 days for implantation to happen at that stage. SO now real symptoms yet, I'm afraid. When I first started in fertility, we did all Day 3 transfers, as we didn't have the expertise then to grow embryos on to Day 5. We still got lots of successes, so keeping everything crossed that your little is a success for you. Good luck! Diane

Thanks so much Diane- that’s reassuring to hear. Everything I have read/seen is mainly about day 5 transfers so good to know there are success stories for a day 3 transfer too. I wish I could just test now and find out. I still have a whole other week to go which is going to be hard! What is the earliest point you can start testing?

Hi Jasmine. Try and wait until the day recommended by your clinic. Usually, Day 14 with a Day 3 transfer. Diane

Hi there.I had a double transfer of 3 day 8 cell grade 1 embryos.I had small bits of cramping like period pain day of transfer and the day after.Boobs were also very sore but only for 2 days after transfer.Put the sore boobs down to the trigger shot.Day 5 after transfer I had a real dull ache right side of my uterus for a few hours and back ache on day 7.I was convinced I was out on day 7 as it was the same type of pain I always get before my period comes.I was that mad I went and did a test just to annoy myself and was sure it would be negative but to my absolute shock it was positive.Currently 14 weeks pregnant with our rainbow baby 🌈xx

Ah that is amazing news!!! I pray the rest of your journey goes well!! That is so reassuring to hear as ive had very similar symptoms. So good to hear you had a day 3 transfer too. I only had 1 put back in because they weren’t sure we’d have any if we waited until a day 5 transfer xxx my amh is exceptionally low for my age (I’m 33 with an amh of 6)
