Hi, at 6 weeks i had heavy bleeding with big clots. We went for scan and baby was okay and got heartbeat. Now i 7 weeks pregnant today. Again i see brown discharge with something dark brown or black inside. I am so worried and i don't know what should i do? I don't have cyclogest to put rectal. Only got utrogaston. It started yesterday n i called clinic. They said they will give telephonic perscription but my husband don't have car or anything to go so he wasn't able to bring. Now he can only bring tomorrow morning. I took medicine what my dr told me to take when i see bleeding.

Is this a natural pregnancy or via IVF? Can you have a blood test to measure progesterone? When I did IVF natural modified frozen transfer, I was on 400mg cyclogest x3 times a day plus lubion 25mg x2 a day. Can you ask a chemist to deliver your medication?

No one can bring medicine till tomorrow morning. My dr told me to put cylclogest 2 times a day a 400mg progestrone oil in morning. He said when i finsih cyclogest box i can again start utrogeston vaginally. Yesterday i put 1 utrogaston n i don't see any spotting after. Today again i put 1 utrogaston at 2pm. After that all this happen.

Hello. Are you able to get to a local hospital? If you’re worried and may need medical care then please go and seek help so that you don’t regret doing all that you could for the pregnancy. Best wishes.

Hi Hira. Call 111 and they should be able to get you an appointment with your nearest urgent treatment centre, which should be placed within your hospital. I hope everything is ok for you. Sending prayers 🙏🏾

hi Hiramunir, it could be a hematoma, did they mention anything on the scan ? , your GP can refer you to early pregnancy unit or perhaps A&E could on weekends, EPU can do another scan or tests to reassure you. I think hematomas are fairly common on IVF pregnancies and most of the time they are reabsorbed and don’t have impact on the pregnancy xx fingers crossed it’s nothing to worry about xx

Wishing you all the best of luck xx

Brown blood is usually fine in pregnancy as it is old blood. My miscarriages have started with light pink spotting and then turned bright red and heavy with contractions the next day. Although sometimes heavy bleeding is normal too as it could be a haematoma.

Hope you’re ok and feeling better today x
