I am currently 5 weeks pregnant after an embryo transfer.
My implantation pains were definitely more on the right side, with some overall cramping on top. However, the right twinges are still happening really low down (just next to pelvic bone).
It’s mostly towards the end of the day, but I’m getting a little nervous as don’t think I should have one side pain at this point? Nothing too bad, just pinches/ small stabbing pains.
Did anyone else get this? And ideally it didn’t turn out to be too sinister?
My scan isn’t for another 2 weeks!
My pregnancy tests are very strong (due stealers) and I don’t have any blood. I also have nausea throughout most of the day.

Might be caused by stretching[ due to pregnancy hormones ] + increased blow flow Make sure drinking plenty so you do not suffer from constipation [ may be windy discomfort causing twinges] If it does not settle you should call the EPU for advice
Hi there.Yes I had the exact same thing at 5 weeks and went for a scan for reassurance. All was well though and now have a beautiful 18week old baby girl.Wishing you a healthy and happy pregnancy.xx
5 weeks 5 days and the pain is still there on and off. Really low on the right hand side. It’s definitely worse at night and I’m having to wriggle around to get comfortable. Did people also have this?
I’m really concerned about an ectopic but the clinic say if pain isn’t uncontrollable and there is no bleeding, there is no need for an early scan.
Sorry to tell but when I was 5 week pregnant (5 months ago) with this exact pain doctors didn’t see a thing. Only 6w6d when I literally could not get up I was rushed to ER for ectopic. Had no bleeding too…
I am now after fresh transfer since then, 3dp5dt and sadly experiencing same pain. Very sad and confused and frustrated….
Hey! I’m sorry to hear about your ectopic but can confirm my pain was totally normal and I’m now 18 weeks and baby is doing well. The pains never really stopped and I’m still getting them every now and again, so figure the stretching type pain can just start early! I hope this time round all is well for you too! Good luck x
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it. It is so similar to the pain I had before… frightening. I hope that this right sided hip-bone pinching pain will result as normal for me too. I wish you all the best
