Hi

I will be starting my first IVF cycle in a few weeks, the first injection will be buserelin and then meriofert, just wanted to know your experience with these two, if anyone one had a similar experience in their cycle, I suffer from migraine and I’m so anxious now that I will get migraine everyday :( thanks

Hello OP, I suffer with migraines also. I did notice that I was having more frequent headaches whilst on the medication, during my first cycle, but no migraines. I was advised to drink lots of water which did help. Although not a migraine, drinking water may help during the process. I also did acupuncture which was very relaxing and helped reduce tension and stress for me.

That’s reassuring thanks, I already go to acupuncturist and that really helps, hopefully I won’t have many side effects. Thanks

Hi KHRAM. Most fertility medication works on the pituitary gland in the brain, so I would speak to your GP before starting. Good luck. Diane
