Hi everyone, I’m currently in the 2ww of my FET bring transferred. Today is day 7 and I have been stressing out because my husband and I are fighting everyday. I feel my blood pressure is rising and my stress level has gone up, causing me not to want eat. I took a pregnancy test yesterday Sunday (Day 6) and it was negative. I know it was early but I was hoping I would see a faint line. I don’t get my Betta checked until Wednesday (Day 9). Do you think all the stress will have any effect on my FET?
**UPDATED:** it was a negative beta. 😢

Hi Vmi, I'm sorry you had a BPN. I don't really know much about whether stress affects implantation I think it's one of those grey area sort of things. I know you're desperately wanting to understand why your little embryo didn't implant, having a reason sometimes makes things easier to validate and cope with, but there really is no way of know why, you can't be sure it was stress related, perhaps that embryo just wasnt the right one. My best advice would be try not to blame it on stress levels and remember there are many reasons why an embryo might not implant, otherwise you might extrapolate that blame into resenting your husband and end up driving a wedge between the two of you at a time where you will really need each others support. <3 xx
Hello! I had my FET last Thursday and just want to say I totally get the emotional ups and downs! The 2ww is soooo torturous! But don't worry, stress should affect your outcome at all! I read studies that said stress does lower implantation chances only in natural pregnancies as high cortisol significantly reduces production of progesteron. We are supplementing progesteron so are not relying on natural production. Try to eat at least a little bit though if you can, so your body does not start producing ketones. I really hope you get good news on Wednesday 🤞❤️
Hi Vmi. It is an extremely stressful time. See if you can get some counselling to talk over your feelings. There is bica.net they charge but deal solely with fertility pro and relationships going through treatment, so do have a look. Diane
