Hi
Has anyone done a natural FET cycle ( tracking ovulation) after 40 and had success. I still have regular periods / ovulate on my own. P.s my embryos were frozen at 35.
Thanks

I've had a better response to natural fet(sadly mc for different reasons). My body seems to be in a better space with a natural fet. It is a little bit more work, but if you know you ovulate every month it's great! I track my bbt and during fet cycles use clear blue advanced. I know my body very well now too to spot for ewcm and ovulation pains. I usually start testing on day 8 depending on cycle length have a scan on day 10/11 and keep testing. The scan shows what the lead follicle is doing and how thick your lining is. Then go back for a second scan depending on follicle and lining. I think for me it keeps inflammation at bay, I even had the best outcome on a fully natural where I started progesterone 3 days after transfer (I was already implanting). But clinic wanted me to up my progesterone!
I did one at 40, I’m currently 20 weeks 🤞🤞
Congratulations ! 🥰 not long to go now do you know what your having ?
I’m currently 26 weeks pregnant with my 6th transfer which was a fet from eggs collected at 39 🥰
I did one when I was 43 and she’s now 2! Wishing you lots of luck. My body definitely reacted better to a natural FET x
I was 39 and 11 months for my lucky FET, I did have a trigger shot to sync with the transfer, but only that. The clinic asked me to have a scan on day 9 I think, then confirmed the trigger day.
Good luck! 🍀🍀🍀
Hey there! I did a naturally modified FET (after a failed medicated one) at the age of 41. My embryos were frozen at 39 and I didn’t have the most regular periods but one every month. This resulted in my daughter who is now 13 months old. I did also cut out caffeine as well as alcohol throughout my pregnancy and had acupuncture during the FET time. Hope this gives some hope! I still think it’s a bit of a lottery but it only takes one.
Hi! I would definitely go for it. I'm 40 years old and I just found out I'm pregnant today xx
Hi, yes, I have. Had a natural FET at 40 with an embryo that was created when I was 36. Said embryo is now 15 months old and sleeping in his pushchair 😀
