Having had a 3rd set of tests last week the findings weren't ideal for us at all and please any advice or guidance welcome.
On my vaginal ultrasound it showed I have mucus pockets in my uterus that the lady doing the scan said that these aren't an issue for treatment as they will just disperse them if they need too during egg retrieval.
Does anyone have any experience of mucus pockets and does it affect TTC naturally at all?
My OH sperm results have got so much worse after 3 months and we're at a loss as to what is causing this. We both gave up alcohol and 3 months later his results have dropped on every level. He has been taking impryl along with CoQ10, omega 3 and zinc as he's vegan.
He is healthy and exercises regularly and doesn't smoke. Does anyone have any ideas why his sperm results could have dropped so much in 3 months?
Thanks for letting me offload x

Hi - I can’t comment on the male issues but as for the mucus pockets….not sure if this is the same but during one of my transfers I developed a cyst/sack of fluid in my uterus which they said they would need to cancel the cycle if it didn’t go. It did reduce however my transfer day was still there so they (with my agreement) aspirated the fluid out and went ahead with the transfer. It wasn’t my last egg which is why I think the Dr was happy to do the transfer if they were confident the fluid had been removed.
Like I said - I’m not sure if this is the same thing but hopefully some other lovely ladies can also offer you more advice on this xx
Best wait till you see the Dr/clinic so they can discuss the results of the scan with you Regarding OH results - have they suggested repeating them in 3mths [ men make sperm in 3 monthly cycles ] Also has he been under the weather recently as this can effect the results ?
Recent illnesses (like Covid for example), can affect sperm results.
Have you also thought about getting your partner to take Proceive vitamins or powders? The powder sachets are a bit pricey, but they seem to be worth the money.
My partner had sperm tests done 6 weeks apart in 2021, and the first one was really bad (1 mil concentration, motility 7% and morphology couldn’t even be read), and the second set of results were sooooo much higher and he was actually considered borderline. He’d only stopped drinking between the results (probably only had 1-2 drinks a week), but 6 weeks wouldn’t have been long enough for this change to have any impact anyway.
I’d definitely retest in a couple of month and get on the Proceive x
Regarding the Impyrl, the same thing happened to my husband. We then switched to Proxeed and saw better results. They have a new and improved formula now too which is meant to be even better. Sending love your way, it’s a minefield x
It's because you combined the impyl with coq10, they specifically say not to take strong antioxidants alongside impryl. You will negate the positive impact Impyl achieves.
