period disappeared & worried about lining implications

I’m waiting for a fresh embryo transfer with SE. I started spotting last week, and told the clinic. The donor has started her stims but now my bleeding has gone away! I’m really worried I jumped the gun and now the whole cycle is doomed as my lining won’t be thick enough- I already have had issues with thin lining. I started prognova as advised and wondered if that has had an impact. Anyone had this experience? It’s day 5 now.

Hi Heichi, my clinic told me it’s normal to only have very light bleeding because of the depot injection the week before, which I guess you had too? They use Decapeptyl or Diphereline. Both times I’ve done these rounds it’s been light, but not as little as you describe. Best to see what your clinic says. Try not to worry (if possible) xx

I appreciate the reply. Thanks!

Hi Heichi26

Please don’t stress yourself. I had a similar issue, but it was my lining not thickening quickly enough. The clinic and I made the decision to do a freeze all from the donor and for me to do a FET later. That completely removed the stress and I finally relaxed.

Remember you’ll be scanned soon and if your lining isn’t right then there won’t be any issue with you stopping and going for a FET next cycle.

Good luck!

thanks! You are right. I’m so eager to have everything done yesterday. I need to try and chill!
