Is this a chemical? 🤯

I am 12dp2dt (OTD Friday). I have been relatively heavy bleeding since Monday night so to be honest I tested today just so I could stop taking my meds rather than delaying the inevitable. My mind is blown that this says pregnant, never ever even had a whiff of a positive test before. The other looks negative though and I’m thinking should I be more than 1-2weeks at this point? I’m guessing with the mix of test results and bleeding that it’s a chemical pregnancy? I’ll keep taking my meds and test again Friday I guess but some words of wisdom would be great whilst I quietly lose the plot over here!xx

I’m not sure I have any words of wisdom as I’m in the tww as well and am up and down like a yo-yo. It’s like a form of torture! I think all you can do as wait and retest. It’s so horrible when you just want an answer and also to stop taking medication if you can. Thinking of you and hoping for a positive result. Xx

Thank you. It’s just hell isn’t it! I usually get through the first week not too bad, but this second week is torture like you say. Sending lots of positive thoughts for your test day too. How long have you got to wait?xx

My test is Monday. 😬😬 If you saw my last post I have been convinced since day of transfer it hasn't worked. I had bad migraine and every time that's happened is been a BFN. Every second minute I'm trying to analyse how I feel! So exhausting! Sending lots of love and baby dust! Xx

Totally agree - completely exhausting! I think I did see your post actually. I hope it’s not the case and you get thrown as much as me with a positive you aren’t expecting! Just hoping it sticks around but we’ll see. I’m now feeling guilty that I ate sooo badly over the last few days because I thought it was over! Baby dust to you xxx

Hi Nic. So sorry to hear how disappointed you are feeling, but do keep up with the medication you have been prescribed and test again on Friday as instructed. Ladies do bleed occasionally early on and sometimes all ends well. I shall be thinking of you and keeping everything crossed. Diane

Those are the worst two tests :) the strip is always very light and the week clear blue is terrible.

Get First Response and compare the same test not different ones x

Hi Nicola. I'm wondering how you are getting on and how heavy your bleeding is? My partner is bleeding today on 10dp5dt fairly heavy but we got a negative, thought it could be implantation bleeding but then it got heavier, seeing your post has made me think maybe it is?

Hi. I had a faint positive test this morning but official test day not until tomorrow. My bleeding has got a bit lighter today. It was relatively heavy, kind of proper period like bleeding so not what I’d have expected for implantation so have been thrown by positive tests. I’ve had bleeding before official test day on other cycles and usually tested negative so it’s difficult to say really. When is your test day? Fingers crossed for you guys x

I bled with my first 2 embryo transfers and thought I miscarried but it turned out to be a subchorionic hematoma which apparently is super common in ivf and they just bumped up my progesterone. Both transfers resulted in a healthy pregnancy with heathy full term baby girls. Let your clinic know they may want to bump up your progesterone

Thanks for your reply allyceclaire89 and sharing some hope. I spoke with the clinic and visited early pregnancy unit but unfortunately it confirmed that I’d lost the pregnancy x
