I had a frozen transfer and tested with clear blue at 8dp5dt (yesterday) and at 9dp5dt (today). Both tests were with first morning wee. Yesterday's line looks thinner but stronger. Today's seems thicker, more blurred and lighter. Could this be a chemical?
I had brown blood at 6dp5dt which was just on one day and nothing since. I had hoped it might be implantation bleeding.
Thoughts and experiences?
Thanks! Xx

hello, sorry you’re anxious about this. Why don’t you test tomorrow and compare it with the 8dp? You can tell the difference easier with a 48-hour difference. Wishing you all the best xx
Only reliable way to know is to get HCGs done twice (ideally 48hrs apart) and compare. Could your clinic or GP arrange these? Or you can get them through online companies, but a bit expensive and take a couple of days to get results.
I think tomorrow/this morning will tell you more as comparing one day apart doesn’t always tell us much I’m afraid as it can just fluctuate for so many reasons. It is a bit light for 8/9 days past but could be on its way to darker especially for a frozen transfer and those clear blues don’t always get very dark. The boots pink dye early response ones I’ve found a bit clearer than those are too (and cheaper) in case it helps. Got my fingers crossed for you there is defo a clear line on both so every chance still xx
I tested again this morning (10dp5dt) and the line is stronger than yesterday and maybe slightly darker than 8dp5dt. I'm not sure why it was fainter yesterday as I think the wee was similarly concentrated and both were morning wee. It seems to have faded too
The fluctuation is worrying. Just hoping the line being a bit darker today is good news.
I’m not so sure about the validity of these crude tests- they only cause panic and distress. Try and hold out til test day if you can. Blood test will be more definitive. I will be rooting for you.
I don't want to be miss party pooper here but the earlier test looked stronger than the later one... Try and be strong and hold on to your OTD. I've never tested early. I couldn't cope with the final disappointment of a fake early positive. I've had 1 chemical (faint positive at OTD) and 1 Negative FET.
It's such a hard journey. So hard when we are so impatient for what we all want.. 🙃
