Period after Failed IVF

Hi All,

Unfortunately, I failed my first FET. I just would like to check whether the first bleeding after the failed IVF will heavy and long? On the other note, will there be a delay in my second peroid after failed FET?

The reason i am asking the second question is there was a delay in my second period after egg retrieval.

So after all my failed IVFs they were heavy periods that usually went on for more like 9/10 days rather than 7.

As for a delay on your next period, I’m not regular so I can’t comment on this unfortunately but I’m sure lots of lovely ladies on here can give you some advice xx

Hi 👋 For me personally the period after a failed transfer whether that be fresh or frozen (as the lutean support can differ) were both the same, no heavier than normal but for me were a little more painful with a fair bit of cramping.

There was no delay in my second period coming.

Sorry to hear about your failed transfer. I know how awful that can be.

hi MrsXX, my first failed FET was on Monday, I just got my period today Friday. It’s definitely heavy with cramps. Hopefully it won’t last longer then usual. I’m usually 5-6 days long. I’ll let you know.

I’m so sorry for your failed FET, it was really hard for me but I’m ready to try again. I’ll keep you in my prayers. ❤️
