Late period after failed ivf

Hey all! This is defo a TMI topic.. I’m waiting for my second period (first proper period) after a failed ivf. Firstly it’s late but I’m getting a lot of stretchy yellowish discharge. Is this normal? So I’ve read it’s normal to have a late period but I’ve had no symptoms and only this gloopy stuff. Help!!

I had late periods a couple of time after failed FET, around 43 days. I cant remember about the discharge though, could it be late ovulation if stretchy?xx

I don’t think so as that’s my fertility issue but perhaps I’ll do a test. Thanks xx

I was told that there was a big possibility that my periods would start being late/early/heavy/light depending on how my body reacted to the hormones in fertility treatment. It was normal and not to worry about it. 😊

I had one failed Ivf cycle, and I got my period 45 days after getting the bfn! The month after that is slightly later than normal (31 days), so don’t worry! That said, I wanted the period to be back to normal ASAP so I could do my next cycle, but I decided to make sure at least I got one normal cycle again before I go for my second round, so I understand the anxiety! 😊

That’s exactly me, I wanted to get started again and the wait is killing me!! Also just seems odd I’ve had no period like symptoms the normal aches and pains. Hopefully it will be here soon xx
