I had a negative pregnancy test from my 1st IVF round on 26th August. I had a withdrawal bleed 2 days later that lasted about 4 days.
I am currently on CD 36 and no sign of AF. Does anyone have any experience with delayed periods after a failed cycle. Anything I can do to hurry things along?
I'm finding it all rather stressful as it is now delaying me starting again.

Hi there! My period was v off after my failed cycle (I wrote a post about it) but it’s normal from what I understand from the other ladies.
Just be patient, it will settle. My clinic told me I’ll need to wait for two proper periods post the ivf bleed to then restart. Just be kind to yourself during this time and good luck for when you restart xx
Thank you for replying, I really appreciate it. I've been slowly driving myself mad wondering if it is normal or not.
My clinic have said the same, wait 2 full cycles after your withdrawal bleed until you start again and this is all delaying it. It is so frustrating.
I might ring the clinic next week if still no sign as I be in day 40 by then x
Oh don’t worry, I feel you with the frustration - my second proper period is due next week and I’m itching for it to come so I can finally get going.
Just be kind to yourself, it’s horrible to go through a negative / failed cycle but your body needs to heal and get back into a rhythm - it’s gone through a lot.
Fingers crossed yours comes along shortly and you’re back into the flow (pun intended?! 🙈) soon

Mine went AWOL after a failed cycle too....think I was around 42 or 43 days once. I'm sure it wont be long away!xx
Just to say I also had a similar experience, my period following failed cycle was 9 days late. So frustrating, but it did come in the end and from what I've understood it's pretty normal.
