Period after failed ivf

Hi ladies, I had a failed ivf in December and since then I've had light periods. This month I have had 3 days of spotting which was black blood with clots and now I am bledding but it's light. Should I be worried. X

Hi NDE1987 , my periods were quite messed up after the second IVF cycle for couple of months, late and otherwise also not like my usual period. But give a call to the clinic or GP so that you can have a peace of mind.

Thank you for your reply hun, I think I will call my doctor's and my clinic go get two opinions!! It's got me worried because it's not like my typical period. Just want things to go back to normal!! Xx

Hey NDE1987- I had an odd cycle at Christmas which wasn't like a "normal" period-mine was due to a ovarian cyst.

It's such a worry when your cycles just change.

I'm sure everything will be ok but get it looked at to put your mind at rest.

I also had a failed cycle in December and cycle isn't the same as it was either. The time before my periods took a couple of months to settle down and even then my periods were later than they normally were.xx

Hi NDE1987. Give yourself 3 cycles to see if all returns back to what's normal for you. If not, then pop and see your GP in case you need something to regulate you again, temporarily. Good luck! Diane
