Hi all! Very stupid question here and most likely over thinking as usual… when do you switch to trimester 1 vitamins? Currently I’m on the trying to conceive tablets (Proceive was recommended to me by a friend) and my FET is Friday! Should I keep taking the trying to conceive vitamins until I get a positive BETA test or switch straight to first trimester from the day of FET?

I can’t speak for Proceive but Pregnacare conception and pregnancy are virtually identical. Maybe compare what’s in the ones you are looking at, you may find there’s virtually no difference. Xx
Yep very little difference between both but I suppose that is what’s throwing me - Why bother have 1/2/3 trimester ones too 😂 . Thanks for your reply ❤️
Hi NervousWreckBaby. You need to continue with Folic Acid and Vitamin D. Untilyou are twelve weeks pregnant. Speak to your midwife or GP to see if you need anything else. Good luck. Diane
will do thanks Diane!
I only took VitD and folic acid and continued this through the pregnancy- no other vitamins and I have a healthy little 3 month old through IVF
thank you and congratulations ❤️
I’m on Proceive as well and just had a BFP after a FET. When I spoke to my clinic about the test they recommended that I switch to a pregnancy vitamin then. Good luck with your FET!
Omg congratulations ❤️ did u switch from the day of FET? I took the conceive one this morning the box said continue until positive pregnancy test hope that is ok now!! I had FET and all went well! 🤞 praying, hoping and crossing everything and anything now 🙈 x
Our clinic told us to switch to pregnancy vitamins from the day of the FET. They contain lower doses of vitamins that are safe for the foetus and exclude supplements, which may harm them, such as Coenzyme Q10. Good luck with your transfer!
uh oh! I took the conceive one this morning the box said take until positive pregnancy test! Fingers crossed that’s ok! It’s fascinating how stressed you get in TWW on the smallest of things!
