no morning sickness?

hello ladies,

last year we had a BFP, my first ever, but to no success. I started bleeding about 6 weeks, called my clinic and they said to not worry about it. When I got to my 7 week viability scan, there was nothing to be seen so I just say I had an early miscarriage even though no reason or explanation was ever offered to me apart from “this happens a lot”.

Fast forward to now and I am pregnant again, about six weeks, with a different clinic. I should be going for my first scan in about 10 days and I am really worried that I am going to get there and get my dreams crushed again. Last year, that scan was a very traumatizing experience.

I feel really tired, my boobs are sore and I have not had any bleeds so far ( this clinic told me to call immediately if I did). The only thing I could find to worry about is that I don’t have any nausea or morning sickness.

Can you please tell me if you had morning sickness around this time (5/6 weeks)? And, if not, if everything went okay?

Thanks a lot

Completely normal to not have morning sickness that early. Sore boobs is a good indicator.

I didn't have any sickness that early. Try not to worry. Signs are a bit ambiguous at first, but congratulations on your BFP!

thank you so much <3

I didn’t really have any morning sickness at all, I had some nausea for about two weeks around 8 weeks and that was it. My daughter is 2 and a half weeks old x

At six weeks, my main symptoms were tiredness and sore breasts. Morning sickness for me didn't come until about week 8. Everyone responds differently and I understand that every pregnancy is different too, so hang in there!

Hi not everyone gets morning sickness and for people who do it doesn't always start in early pregnancy, my friends morning sickness started at 12 weeks mine started the day after my viability scan. As pregnancy symptoms vary massively from one person to the next comparing and Googling are a waste of time and only cause unnecessary anxiety. So keep taking your meds and try to find something else to focus on like reading a book, binge watching something, try a new hobby, plan little treats for yourself and partner. I know how hard it is waiting for viability scan after previous losses so sending positive vibes x

I didn't have morning sickness until much later, like 8 to 12 weeks, so try not to put too much stock in that! Fingers crossed for you xx

Hey lovely, I didn’t have any sickness/nausea until about 8 weeks and it hasn’t stopped since and I’m now 21 weeks! My first symptoms were cramps which caused me constant worry and boobs were very sore! Wishing you all the luck in the world, I now how hard the first few weeks are all too well xxx

No morning sickness here either! I developed some mild nausea around 9 or 10 weeks , but only when I had an empty stomach. I did have sore boots from the start though, so that's a good sign 👌 Currently at 31 weeks and I've barely been troubled with morning sickness at any time in the whole pregnancy so far. Everything seems OK 🙏 so don't worry about that. Congratulations 🎉 🎊 x

Hi! I'm currently 6 weeks and 5 days pregnant and I don't have nausea either apart from maybe 4 times, I have very bad fatigue and sore boobs and frequent urination, my hcg levels are extremely low but last Friday on my 6 weeks and 1 day scan they saw the sac and the yolk sac and the 1.7mm fetal pole but to early to see a heartbeat, I'm going back this Friday for another scan, so you really don't have to worry about not having nausea, also when i was pregnant with my 2 adult kids I didn't get morning sickness until I was 8 weeks pregnant xx
