Hi Daisydo123. It’s awful being like this, but if you can keep busy hopefully you will work through it. Try a ginger biscuit before you get up, sometimes helps. Good luck at work. Diane

Hi dear!

I am glad that you are not complaining but trying to find some help. Indeed there are plenty of women out there who yearn for morning sickness and vomiting. These are good signs which show that one has conceived. Anyway, let’s focus on the issue here! Typically, the morning sickness will go away as soon as you hit week 13. But since this is your 7th week, you can’t wait until that time. Something needs to be done to help you. Notice that I will just be suggesting a few remedies but I don’t guarantee that they will work since they don’t work for everyone. However, the methods have helped some women find relieve and I believe they can help you.

The first thing you need to do is to allow yourself enough time before getting up from your bed. If you normally wake up at 6.00 am, setting your alarm to 5.00am will allow you enough time to prepare to wake up. Also, keep some crackers and cereals by your bedside to allow you to eat something before you wake up. Once you have eaten something as you sleep, you can start getting up slowly.

The next thing you need to do is to eat small whether you are feeling hungry or not. You should avoid getting too hungry or too full. Normally, progesterone will slow down the rate at which food passes digestive tract. And therefore it is recommended that you drink fluids a half an hour before eating meals. Also, drink enough fluids to help avoid dehydration. Lastly, ensure that you get plenty of rest and don’t take a nap as soon as you are through with eating because it increases nausea.

Hey all I can suggest is to keep eating whatever you can stomach every so often. In my case it was heavy carbs e.g. salted crisps or animal crackers. It stopped me being sick but the sickness sensation never stopped. I tried everything but my 24/7 morning sickness did not ease till 12 weeks. If you can tell your work then that might mean they can be sympathetic or if it's really bad maybe see if your doctor can sign you off. Sorry to sound negative but I never got peace till the 12 weeks lol. I have an office job so not as physical. Just got to battle on xxx

I agree with the others, eat little and often. I found that once I started getting hungry then the nausea intensified and I didn’t want to eat which made it all even worse. To start with I had my lunch and dinner really early every day to try and keep the nausea at bay but I found it was better if I grazed throughout the day.
