Sickness + Uti and hospitalised

Hi guys so I got my bfp but was struck by all day sickness from 6 weeks plus it was bad but I’m grateful.

Iv been feeling awful, tired and really bad headaches at week 10.

I collapsed so was taken to hospital given a IV for sickness and antibiotics for my UTI.

The morning after they scanned me at the EPU baby is fine thank god but both ovaries are swollen with cysts prob what is causing me pain

It’s been a tough ride and Iv taken sick leave from work as some days I don’t have the strength to get out of bed

My house is a mess and I don’t want to go out and I feel crap.

It just feels like we think about getting pregnant so much we don’t really know much about it once we are

Iv got my 12 weeks scan this Friday

Hi. Nothing like a good old UTI to knock you for six! Obviously your ovaries have been dong triple toe loops and forgot to wind down now that you are pregnant. Just hoping they can clear the infection soon and you can get to enjoy the rest of your pregnancy. At least you get to see little one again on Friday. Thinking of you. Diane

I can totally relate to this... we focus so much on getting pregnant we dont think about what happens after. Ive been sick as anything, cant eat and living off of plain crackers and noodles.... hope the sickness goes away for us in 2nd trimester xxx

Awwww bless you- what a rotten journey you have had so far! Hopefully all will settle after first trimester is over. Hope all goes well for first scan, got mine next Wednesday and can’t help feeling very anxious about it. Good luck 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I think it will get better soon for you. I was also really tired and sick and low but it shifted a bit in week 11. I'm still sleeping a lot but not feeling as awful. Apparently there is often an energy surge after week 12.
