FET embryo

hi everyone

I had my FET today - at the time that the embryo was frozen I was told it was high quality expanded

When they transferred today they said it looked good and survived the thaw - but not yet fully expanded

so I am torturing myself now really thinking it’s not as good quality after it had thawed - can this have an impact ?

I just feel like nothing quite went as planned with this cycle so I maybe am on abit of a doom and gloom about it all and I realise there’s nothing I can do anyway!!

If not fully expanded I think it’s even better.

Hold in there and let the embryo do the task

This method does work, have some hope, eat well and take your meds.

Hi Flounder84 I don't have any advice about this, but just wanted to wish you luck! 🤞

I had my FET last Thursday, so I'm in the 2ww with you! OTD for me is 9th May, so I'm guessing yours is around the same time?

thanks yes my OTD is 8th May but I’m getting all my usual pre period signs so feel pretty sure of the result as I get very strong signs each month knowing my period is coming! I think I’ll test tomorrow just to put myself out of my misery really. How are you feeling? Lots of luck to you

Oh I'm sorry you feel that way. Hopefully that's not the case! I'm feeling pretty anxious myself. Had some cramping and spotting the last couple of days, so I don't know what to think 😏 I'm going to try to wait it out until Tuesday though and see what the test says!

I tested this morning and it’s a very faint positive. I’m 8dp5dt. I don’t know what to think now but the test line seems v faint. I felt 99% sure it would be negative

That sounds good! Don't give up hope, keep going with the meds, test again in a couple of days and hopefully it'll be a dark line! 🙏

I broke and decided to test too! Really thought I could wait it out, but when I saw your positive I just had to! I have a faint line too! I really hope this is it for both of us!!

oh wow keeping everything crossed for you that is a really good sign to see the faint line!! How many dpt are you? Sorry I made you cave and test though I am so pleased you saw a line too! X

Had my transfer on the 28th, so I'm 8dpt as well I think!

how’re you getting on? I think I maybe had a chemical as tested again this morning and one faint line on one test and another test is a clear negative

Are you using standard test strips? Mine was really faint with those, but have a dark line on a Clearblue test! Try with an early response test if you haven't already. Good luck x

my hcg level was tested today via blood test at my clinic it is very low level of 12 so very unlikely to be viable. I have to go back in 2 days to check hcg blood test again just to confirm it’s not doing anything before I can stop my meds. I feel ok really as there isn’t anything I can do about it now. How are you feeling ? When do you test? Wishing you better luck x x
