First embryo transfer today. Here goes the tww!

Today was my first embryo transfer. We had a 5 day blastocyst grade 5AAA transferred. The clinic seemed pretty pleased with it all so now I just need to try and relax and see what the next two weeks bring.

We have another 7 embryos in the lab and the embryologist is phoning me with an update on them tomorrow to see if any have made it for freezing but she didnt sound too confident. Her words were "theres a question mark over them just now". 🤞

Is anyone else starting their tww? xx

I feel ok, stomach cramps but nothing major. How about you?

Did you get a picture?

I’m only taking 2 days off as I’ll go stir crazy at home. Plus we have builders in so it’s definitely not relaxing in any way. My nephew is coming for a bank holiday weekend visit too so that’s a distraction.

How about you, any distracting plans? xx

No cramps but been quite bloated and constipated since egg collection.

We didnt get a picture but were able to see it on screen, which was really cool. Its such an amazing process.

Back at work on Wednesday and no plans for the weekend. Plan to take it easy and try and relax. Maybe a cinema date and out for a meal.

Just want to fast forward!! xx

I know, its a pretty surreal thing to happen after all the build up. I can feel it’s going to drag.

I thought I would need to miss my Wednesday yoga class which I love but my lovely teacher is going to do a relaxing class so I can still come which is very kind.

Cinema and dinner sounds like a lovely plan xx
