Hi, I know many of you have been through this 2ww many times and I am wondering how you all cope with the ups and downs. I've woken up this morning with the same feelings I get in the lead up to my period and I'm feeling pretty despairing.
I've had no discharge whatsoever and feel sweaty in the morning. I just want to fast forward and get the test day over and done with now.
Although I know the odds are slim for it working first time, I felt that up until now I had a bit of hope keeping me going.
My younger sister-in-law to be has also just invited me to her baby shower and it all feels lonely and too much.
Any advice would be gratefully received.
Xx

The fertility journey can be long and hard -just take it a day at a time The meds and stress + anxiety can make you feel a bit down Sending you a hug and good luck wishes
Hi There! Im also in my 2ww - although only 1dp5dt. I wish I could just sleep till my OTD I woke up with cramps last night and then some random nightmare! Are you going to start testing early? I've ordered a bunch of cheapies today and will start as of 5DP5DT.
About the baby shower.. if you're not feeling it, (which is soo understandable - I don't think I could do it honestly, I can't handle any social gatherings atm and a baby shower would be a bit of a trigger).. can you make something up and not go? 😕
Good luck with your waiting too. I've heard progesterone can cause changes in sleep and vivid dreams.
I'm not going to test early because I am the sort of person who will get hung up on the outcome ( positive or negative) and I've heard it can take a while for the dip stick tests to register HCG so there's the risk of a false positive or negative.
Yes, I managed to come up with an excuse and put it across nicely, so no harm done.
Sending you lots of good thoughts for a positive outcome.
Keep positive hun. I know ots easier said than done. But there's been many on here with first time positive results . Think pregnant then hopefully it will be your time. Good luck sweet . Keep your chin up. Pregnant till proven other wise xx
It can absolutely work first time! The tww is torture and messes with you mentally but you will get through it. My advice is don't test early as I found that messed with my head even more and limit yourself to one Google search a day or you fall into a Google rabbit hole diagnosing yourself with all sorts! Wishing you the best of luck xx
Wishing you all the best and forgot to say when I had a BFP with my daughter it felt like I was coming on my period. I then had cramping and spotting which was an implantation bleed so even if you have these symptoms it doesn't mean you are out xx
Hello lovely. I’d try not to focus on symptoms too much (I know it’s so hard!). They vary so much person to person, and even pregnancy to pregnancy. When I got my positive, I also had no discharge and felt exactly like my period was coming. Sending you so much luck! Stay strong: you got this 🧡
Thank you, that's really reassuring to hear. I keep breaking my promise to myself about symptom spotting but keep working at it! Feeling a bit better this evening. Thank you for your support Take care xx
Oh bless you. So e lovely advice on here s d google can literally become your nightmare. I was experiencing similar pains and just kept telling myself it was implantation, although I didn’t have night sweats.
This wait has got to be the most agonising. I was the exact same last week. I was due to test Wednesday, but wanted to wait until the weekend. Decided to go for it Thursday evening and didn’t pee on the test properly. I then had an awful night waiting for the morning and went for it on Friday, where I tested 2-3 weeks pregnant 🤗🤗🥳
I wish you all the best and hope you get the result we all long for xxx
