On 22nd Feb we got the sad news our first transfer failed. We're still very hopeful but it's an emotional rolloercoaster. My period came on queue a few days after the news but now 11 days later, I'm spotting (red/brown blood). Not sure if it's a period yet (if so it's very early. I haven't even ovulate yet)
Has anyone experienced irregular bleeding after failed transfer? This is such a roller coaster 😢
All the different hormone meds we take during IVF can mess with our natural cycle after treatment. If you are concerned at all give your clinic a ring they will be able to reassure you.
Hi, yes I had this after my first failed fresh cycle and it went on for a few months. My GP sent me for an U/S scan and I turned out to have a cyst on my left ovary (had pain on the left side too). It went away on its own though and my period returned to normal. Sorry for your loss, it’s so heartbreaking.
*UPDATE* Just did an ovulation test and I'm ovulating. What? It's right cos it's day 12 but never had spotting before. Glad because at least my cycle isn;t messed up and I can try naturally before starting a frozen embroyo transfer next cycle. Thanks for replying. x
