Day 3 after transfer

We had our transfer in Greece on Monday and all went well. Was so relaxed. We got home last night and my breast feel really tender and hurt when I walk downstairs. Will this be the medication? What symptoms should I expect from the med’s as when I managed to get pregnant on my own without successful pregnancies I had the same thing with my breasts when I walked downstairs. I don’t want to get my hopes up.

It's the progesterone your body makes naturally that gives you pregnancy symptoms so when taking the stuff after transfer you'll often get the same symptoms. It's a total mindf**k, let's be honest!!

So symptoms don't mean anything, you just have to hang on in there until testing. I hope the rest of the wait doesn't drag on too much and ends in a BFP for you. Best of luck xxx

Thank you so much for the advice. I thought it might be. It was just that I had Started taking the progesterone on the 11th feb but did not get these symptoms until after transfer xx

Hmmmm interesting. Mine were sore all the way through, even before transfer. I hope it's a good sign for you!!!

Hi Debrakay. Probably just down to your own progesterone kicking in on top of any pessaries you might be using. Fingers crossed for you. Diane

Why would my body be making more progesterone? X

Hi. The pessaries are to top up your normal levels. If all goes well then your progesterone gets used first, then topped up with pessaries/injs. Lets hope all is going well for you. Bit early to know for sure. Diane
