Hi guys so I'm in the middle ,(8dp5dt of a 2/2 graded) 2WW . Last cycle also with DE I posted on here about losing symptoms on day 6 and 7 which made no scientific sense to me as the feelings I had I had before transfer and where entirely drug related I was on the same amount of drugs so felt I should be maintaining those symptons at least. The clinic stroked me told me symtons come and go. But it's still made no sense. So it's happened again and this time I'd done more research proactively so I asked my clinic for a progesterone test sure enough my levels had dropped from 62.3 to 42.1 . My consultant gave me the choice of upping my prontogest to 48 hourly from 72 I'm also on 2 utrogestan pessarys every 6 hours vaginally. She said she was happy that it was above 35! on transfer day I was told it needed to be 50. This has been raised with them as I'm not happy. But my question to you lovely ladies is has anyone else experienced this?I've had the ENDOTRIO so this flagged no Endo issues ERA I needs more hours of progesterone. My thyroid was tested at the start of this journey of IVF 4 years ago I'm now 44 started TTC at 37. I'm at a loss as to why my body would stop absorbing it. I never miss a time I need to do it got so many alarms on my phone if it ever got stolen they'd return it 🤣 so I never forget.
Looking back I wonder if this has always been an issue cycle,1 & 2 I bled so more progesterone added cycles 3 &4 I lost symptoms but the clinic said this was trigger shot this made scientific sense at the time. Then these 2 cycles..
Any advise please 😔

So sorry, I know what it's like to be in the 2ww and find your progesterone levels are low 😔 Yours aren't disastrously low, likd mine were, so don't lose all hope. Have you tried different types of progesterone? For instance, for me, in an ivf situation I need injectable progesterone, cyclogest didn't do it for me. My body doesn't seem to absorb it correctly xx
Hey AuroraXen. Thanks for replying.I'm on prontogest PIO shot in the butt cheek. I'm wondering myself if the pessarys are not the best solution for me. I've upped my prontogest and I've asked the clinic some questions. So will wait to see what they say. Xx
I had treatment abroad and they were very hands off with testing, one progesterone test before transfer that was it. But they gave me the progest PIO injections to have once a day as standard. I then weaned onto pessaries a few weeks later.
