My clinic is Spain is frustratingly bad at communication. We’re keen to do our FET on Nov before Christmas kicks in and air fares & hotels get ridiculously expensive.
Please could you share what medication you were on pre-FET? I need to calm my mind in knowing that we’re ready to go when they are eventually return my calls and emails. I already have about 27 days worth of Estradiol and progesterone from my last fresh cycle.
Thanks xx

it depends what protocol you are on. I had a medicated fet in the past and I was given progynova tablets and cyclogest pessaries. I also had lubion injections. I had prostap injection for downregulation and buserelin spray.
I have been looking into protocolsfor FET recently and I found out that it's not only medicated or natural.
1. HRT protocol. This involves estradiol tablets and/or patches & progesterone pessaries and/or injections. You probably downregulate with buserelin injection and spray.
2. Natural transfer. No meds at all or progesterone pessaries/injections. There are different times you can start progesterone in an Natural FET. 6 days before transfer or on the day of transfer.
3. Natural modified. The same as above only difference is a trigger injection to time ovulation and transfer. And progesterone
4. Stimulated FET. Clomid or letrozole or FSH (the drugs they give you for growing your follicles in a egg retrieval cycle).
there's also the blood thinning injections and aspirin that a lot of clinics prescribe just in case you have Thrombophilia. This can be added in any of the above protocols
And finally the immune suppression protocol which can be steroids, antinflammatory (plaquenil) intralipids and IVIG. Again this is added on the above protocols.
these last two protocols are usually added when you have had previous failures.
Thanks Solly-44, really good to know. On my last cycle, I started taking Estradiol on Day 1, had a scan on Day 10 and progesterone on Day 14, but then it was a fresh transfer using donor eggs xx
hello to think different people might be different. I’ve had 4 fets and they were different everytime. But this last one was progyluton, aspirin, prolutex, clexane, prednisona, xxx
