How did you take yours PREDESINOLNE

For those of you that have take the steroid as part of your treatment can I ask how you took them. All at once or 1tab 3 times a day?

3 lovely cant remeber what mg it was maybe 25 and stopped them around 6 months I think x

We are good thanks and he’s 3 now!! I’m glad your still going and not giving up xx I took mine morning lunch and night I think. Just go with what you have been told to do x sending big hugs x

Wow.... this is last chance saloon for me am tired and need to get my focus back on life so this is it ( in the words of MJ ). We would have tried everything and we have all drugs for this last go so who knows. Xx

Yeah clinic said am pm and evening which I prefer to be honest x

Hey Tamtam!! I took 20mg to start with and reduced to 10mg. You are best to take them in the morning as they can cause insomnia!! Is this you gearing up to start?xx

Hi Tamtam1.

I took prednisone 5mg x 2 for the first 12 weeks of pregnancy ( raised NK cells) I took mine in the morning after my breakfast. As Cinderella5 says they can cause insomnia.

I had no ill side effects & I’m sure it helped to keep my baby safer.

By the sounds of it, I’m the only one that was told to take them morning and afternoon lol. All at once in the morning seems the norm. They made me so hungry! Well one of the medications I was on seemed to make me hungry and I’m assuming it was them lol. Hope all goes well next week xx

Im on 20mg and I was told to take 2x5mg twice daily so im doing morning and night. So far no insomnia

Hi Tamtam,I've just started taking them this week, 20mg and all 4 tablets to be taken in the morning. I was also prescribed Omeprazole to help my stomach whilst on steroids and yep I feel so hungry which is a nightmare because I'm trying to lose weight!! Xx
