Bleed during ovulation?

Hi Ladies,

We are TTC and due to my age and low AHM we have decided on donor eggs. While this is our decision we fell we ca still try naturally while we are awaiting further consultation with our clinic. Here is my question.. I got a positive on ovulation test on Friday and we have been having sex for the past few days. After sex this morning I bled slightly followed by a blood clot and some more light bleeding - bright red. I had no pain or cramping. My next period is due on 31st of this month. I have regular periods (27 day cycle normally) and only on one other occasion 2 years ago passed a clot larger that a quarter.

I have a GP appointment on Tuesday but was wondering if anyone has a similar experience or what it could be.

I don’t have polyps, fibroids, endometriosis, etc. worried it could be something serious that could affect chance of getting pregnant.

Hi Rain. Good that you have a GP appointment to check you out in case you have a cervical erosion or polyp. He/she will be able to see. Diane
