I'm currently doing a mock cycle in the lead-up to a FET. The clinic said I could do gentle exercise, but I don't know what that means really. I've just signed up to a doubles league of tennis matches between now and xmas, and my FET will hopefully be mid-December, and don't want to let my tennis partner down, but I don’t want to do exercise that could jeopardise my FET. It only means one or two matches per month. Can anyone offer any advice please? My clinic have been very vague...

Exercise in lead-up to FET
Hi CRGH. Tennis is quite a strenuous game, so perhaps slow down before FET and gentle excercise, such as walks after transfer. Good luck. Diane
Definitely listen to Diane as she is a professional! But just to say I carried on pretty much as normal in the lead up to my FET and I exercised every day running. spin, swimming etc. I stopped doing HIIT and weight training two weeks before and stopped horse riding a week before but went for a run (6k) the night before and had a glass of wine! Oops! x
Thanks Daisy - I bet that glass of wine helped! X
I'm interested in the replies you get on this...I thought it was okay to exercise unless you were stimming or after transfer.
What is the rationale in stopping more vigourous exercise weeks before FET please, or similarly weeks before starting stims? X
I was told exercise before FET is ok, just not after? So I did a combat class the night before my transfer and had a bfp that round. I think as long as your body is used to the exercise and it’s not too strenuous you’ll be ok? Xx
I was playing tennis, cycling and running right up until transfer. I felt good so I kept going! I think it depends how you feel and trying not to push yourself to exhaustion?
