1st frozen transfer but 6th overall transfer - what should i be feeling with a frozen transfer?

Hi there

Looking for some advice and reassurance i guess. I'm not new to this game in the fact i just had my 6th embryo transfer yesterday, however, this is my first frozen transfer.

Usually i have side effects from the progesterone at this point, sore boobs cramping etc but with this frozen transfer i haven't had any side effects after 5 days progesterone of preparation. I had the transfer yesterday and feel completely normal. I had my levels checked and they say they're nice and high so that's good at least.

Should i be feeling anything at this stage? How was everyone else?

I'm so worried, this is our sixth attempt and a double transfer, i want to make sure we're giving these embabies the best chance. xx

Heaps of luck! My 7th transfer was my first frozen transfer so you are not alone! I found that I didn't really have any side effects from the drugs compared to how I felt when I did fresh, in fact like you I felt really quite normal which worried me! The main thing is your progesterone level is where it needs to be so that suggests all is well - so try not to worry - easier said than done! Really hope this is your lucky one! x

Thank you so much for the reply and nice to know i'm not alone on my first FET after so many fresh! Good to know that's pretty normal! Thanks for the luck, here's hoping these ones stick!! I promised myself i wouldn't google and i wouldn't go on forums and here i am! 🙈 xx

hello lovely, congrats on your transfer, sending positive vibes. I’m in a similar situation, except this is my second fet and my progesterone levels were a bit low so I am topping up my progesterone via twice daily injections.

I’m on day 3 today and also have zero symptoms. It’s so hard not to start thinking the worse and searching for answers isn’t it.

I hope you get your long awaited BFP xx

Sending positive vibes right back. It's very hard indeed, i'm trying my best to stay distracted but it's not easy. I don't want to believe that this hasn't worked, i'm just hoping i feel differently because it's an FET as opposed to fresh. What day is your test day? I'm Mon 26th which will be 11dp 5dt. xx

My last fet I had twinges/mild cramping and that was a bfn so you really can’t tell, don’t write yourself off. The TWW is just the worst. I was exactly like uou - no googling, no forums, yet here I am lol.

My test date is Wednesday 28th, I’ll also be 11dp5dt. Xx

I'll be thinking of you. I think i managed until 2dp 5dt. Currently trying to work but find myself off to a forum every five minutes 🙈 As you say I've had symptoms with miscarriage and BFN, so i know there's no pattern or anything specific, just searching for hope i think! xx

I know exactly what you mean! What are we like ey?! 🙈 Searching for hope is exactly what it is. Searching for anything to help put our minds at ease 🙈 xx
