So… after a FET on the 27th ( a week ago today) I’ve really struggled. I thought AF was due last Tuesday but my clinic said that I’m having a longer cycle this month and AF is actually due either yesterday or today.
I’ve never tested early on a transfer before but yesterday I did and I got a very clear negative. I didn’t do the test first thing though!
Do you ladies think I’m definitely out or was it maybe early? Or I was maybe to hydrated? My official test day is Tuesday - I have a blood test booked for early Tuesday morning.
I feel really deflated today because it feels like AF is on her way! I’m trying to stay positive and think I’m still in until it does arrive but I’m finding this one really hard!

Aw, I had an FET on same day and feel like AF is on the way too so I can empathise! But they do say you can't really judge by symptoms. I reckon it's too early to tell by test. My clinic says test week on Sunday first in the morning so that's ages away. We'll both have to hang in there. It's nerve wracking though. I keep going to the loo to check! Xx
I’m the exact same! I’m spending a lot of time in the bathroom! I do wish I hadn’t tested, I never have before but I’m finding this one really difficult for some reason! I’ve never had a cycle longer than 32 days and today is day 32, maybe that’s why I am on edge today. Good luck to you!!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻
Aw, I guess if it's medicated it will be a different length. I think it's the number of days from the FET that are key. Keep going, there is still hope xxx
It’s not a medicated cycle but my clinic said that my ‘surge’ was later than normal this cycle and that AF should come 10-14 days after that and for me today is day 14… 😵💫
Ah, dito. I waited what felt like an age for my surge. So I'm on day 14 since then and day 33 counting since last AF! That's interesting to know when AF expected. I was guessing up to 16 days. Fingers crossed for us 🥰
Same! I’m also on day 33 today! And AF hasn’t arrived as yet - definitely hope for us!!! Google said 10-16 days but my clinic told me 10-14 so I’m going with them 🤞🏻🤞🏻Fingers crossed 🤞🏻🤞🏻 🥰
So I tested again today first thing and the test was faulty… 😵💫 the test line took ten minutes to appear so clearly a faulty test! So, I went out and got another and took it around 10am and it’s a clear negative. I was thinking that maybe I was to hydrated as I’d had water and tea but realistically, 8 days post FET, I think it would be showing positive even later on in the day if I was actually pregnant. I definitely do not recommend testing early 😵💫 but I do think I’m out for this transfer now unfortunately 😭
Aw, sorry to hear that 😢 but maybe try again with first wee of the day just in case? I know it's awful when you feel down cos you think it's over but you still have another week of wait. I have cramps so I'm worried mine is over but some people do say it's not necessarily bad xx
Well, I couldn’t sleep in the night so I got up around 2am and did another test (had been in bed around 5hrs) and this came up with a faint positive within the three minute time frame! I’m not going to get excited though with already having a negative yesterday. I’ve a blood test at my clinic tomorrow so I’ll know for definite either way tomorrow 🤞🏻I’ve been having cramps this whole 9 days since transfer on and off so you’re not alone there! Fingers crossed still for us both!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻
That's great news. So at least you don't have to wait long and there is hope. I have to do a test next Sunday but I'll know before then if AF arrives of course. Reassuring about the cramps. I was lying in bed worrying it was the end because of them xx best of luck xx
