Hi all,

Just wondering if there are any (or many) success stories out there of women who have got pregnant with a lining less than 8mm on day of transfer?

Looking for some hope!

Thank you x x

I always had crap lining for transfer. I had my best on the last one which was just under 8mm....have you tried raspberry leaf tea and capsules....holland and barrett. I swear it helped me. I also know a few ladies that have had success with linings under that too. Oh and we had twins. Good luck.xxx

Thank you Cinderella5, I’ve just bought myself some raspberry leaf tea to drink so hoping this may help. I’ve also been reading about L’arginine but I’ve got to do a bit more research before I buy. Congratulations on the twins! I’m hoping our next double ends in twins 🤞🏼🤞🏼 X x x

I tried l'arginine without much success. Get the tea, drink 2 cups a day...cold of hot. I also took the capsules....go for it....honestly, I really think it helped so much and known others it's done the same for. Would love to hear how you go....I'm following!xxx

Hi Babymagic37, I had lining issues for my first transfer, for my second I was on 12mg Progynova from day 2 of my cycle onwards & also ate loads of avocado / walnut & almonds / smoked salmon. The last two transfers it’s been over 8mm, the last one was 9.5mm. I just wanted to let you know 🙏🏼I’ve heard of many people getting pregnant with lining of 6 / 7mm though xxx

Thank you Kit12345, I’m trying to eat more walnuts and avocado and of course loads of beetroot! I’ll look into progynova, did you get this prescribed? Congratulations on your pregnancy! I’ve been following your posts - such amazing news 🎉 x x

Hey Babymagic37, Yes my doctor prescribed it. Thanks so much, I still feel like I’m on the edge of my seat with it but glad it’s progressing like it should, praying it continues. Best of luck, with your transfer ❤️❤️❤️

Mine was always 'too thin', it was 6.7 on the cycle that resulted in my little girl. I was pregnant 3 times before her and only once was it over 8, the others were around 7. The lining had nothing to do with the losses, they were either due to chromosome issues or immune issues they think xx

Thank you st1984 for you reply. That’s reassuring to hear!! Can I ask what tests you had done to identify your immune issues? Ive just had a chemical and I’m wondering if there’s an issue I should be investigating? x x

Sorry to hear about the chemical, its such a tough journey. I had Chicago blood tests they called them, 6 vials sent to Chicago for testing (not cheap but it was worth is for us) . But they basically said I have high NK cells so an overactive immune system. xx

I had my little girl with a lining bang on 7mm. It can be a decent triple layer lining without it being thick. Good luck xx

Another one here! My lining was somewhere in the region of 5.5-6 when I fell pregnant (naturally after failed IVF) and had no placenta issues throughout so it’s definitely possible and way more common that you think. Look into caster oil packs to help prepare lining. Good luck Xx

Thank you Susie_1234, I’ve not heard of caster oil as a solution so I’ll look into that - much appreciated x x
