Scared to test

Hi all I am in my two week wait and have a beta HCG blood test booked for Wednesday,so we should get the results Thursday.

When I read posts on here most people are struggling to not test early, but I am just so scared of testing to get that negative news again, or worse get my hopes up, to find out it's a chemical pregnancy like last time.

We are in an amazing position after treatment in Cyprus in that we have this one now and 5in the freezer, but after 9 atempts I really just want this to work 🤞.

i currently don't feel anything and don't feel the two weeks have been ideal at all.I flew back the day after transfer getting no sleep as it was through the night, with all the Ayia Napa teenagers coughing,I already had a stomach infection when I went for transfer but had been given antibiotics the day before by a doctor, but was still on medication for it until Thursday. The last two days both my partner and I have a cold/possibly covid. All of these things completely out of my hands, so I am not letting them panic me,but I would rather never test to avoid negative news 😔.😔

Thanks, me too 🤞🤞

enjoy your bubble until OTD! You don't need to test early! I think the more disappointment we have had the less we want to do it. Good luck xx

Yes I couldn't agree more, it's just a horrible prospect another negative. Thanks for replying xx

I totally understand it. The both times I tested early I had CP's and I wish I never did. It was heartbreaking. The one time I didn't, I got a bfp and successful pregnancy. You are nearly there to OTD. Wishing you the best of luck for your bfp. Xxx

No wonder you're feeling jaded Yellow... 9 attempts is a lot! I think over time, doing the tests gets worse and worse. I'm with you, I'd rather stay in that happy bubble of 'I could be pregnant' forever 😆 I HATE testing. I wish my clinic did blood tests, actually, then at least it would be someone else having to tell me the news. If my upcoming transfer goes ahead, I think I'll wait until the last possible moment to test. Hoping you don't need them but 5 frozen embryos is amazing to have as back-up xx

Hiya, thanks very much, but yes your right, you just want to stay in the unknown zone!! Good luck for your transfer when it takes place, I will have everything crossed for you. I am very grateful to have lots in the freezer, it's a silver lining and still another chance x
