10dp5dt and scared to test

I’m 10dp5dt and have not had any symptoms this whole time. My clinic is doing first beta on day 12. Should I test before? Anyone test positive after not having any symptoms?

Hi Icequeen. Don’t worry about lack of symptoms. Most, if any early on, are related to side effects of medication. Keep up with yout prescribed meds and Folic Acid and Vitamin D and test with first urine of the day, as instructed by your clinic. Good luck. Diane

I feel like most people actually don't experience symptoms that early on! Can very much relate with the fear of testing....

Hi! Hope you don’t mind me replying, I’m 6dp5dt today, so we’re very close in dates! This is my 3rd transfer but we’ve transferred our last 2 embryos from this cycle.

I’m driving myself insane, how are you getting on? My clinic makes you wait until day 14 to test! So I’ve got ages to go, I’m so tempted to tested on day 10 as I’ve seen many people on here their clinics say to test then.

Hiya,Of course I don't mind, it's always nice to meet someone who is at a similar stage so thanks for reaching out. My clinic make us wait until day 13 so I believe that'll be next Wednesday. I've tested early on most of my transfers so far so no doubt I'll cave and give in. I'm not doing too bad, having up and down moments but more concerned about lack of symptoms so I'm constantly symptom spotting which I know isn't good. We're self funded so if this little embryo doesn't work my next FET will be our last one going forward, which makes me so so sad 😢 How are you feeling? X

I know what you mean about up and down moments, I think it’s impossible not to feel like that. Sorry to hear it’s your last one too. I’ve got everything crossed for us both that this is our time ✨

I have had cramping the last 2-3 days which lasted pretty much all day, but I had similar on my last round which didn’t work. So I think it’s just the pessaries causing it. There is literally no ideal scenario whilst waiting because even when you get symptoms you can’t believe they are what you hope they are. I do actually have what I would say is a negative symptom though which I’m really worrying about; I’ve had a slightly off white/ light yellow discharge the last 2 days accompanying the cramps which I think may be my period trying to come through. I had the same in my last two rounds that didn’t work but I didn’t have it this early. Historically my periods are always really late so it is unusual for me for it to come this early but 🤷🏼‍♀️ who knows! I’ve searched on here for similar stories to try and put my mind at ease but kind find anyone mentioning that. Maybe I should put my first post out there.

Cramping that early and off white/yellow discharge could be good sign though right? Especially as it happened so early on and you don't normally have an early bleed. I've heard implantation bleeding can be a brown or a light pink colour, so sounds positive!

I still don't really have any symptoms, I've had the smallest bit of light brown discharge today but that's it, and now everything is back to normal again. I'm on a higher dose of progesterone this time so I'm hoping this isn't an early bleed again. I was actually tempted to buy myself a rest today but I managed to hold off.

The weirdest thing is, I really want test day to arrive but I also don't because I'm dreading the result 😔

It could be a good sign, I just always get it before my period normally and today it seems to be a bit more yellow 😔 so I’m fairly sure I’m out.

A little bit of brown sounds positive! It’s the right time too as implantation will have just complete within the in the last 2 days! Fingers crossed for you!

I’m absolutely dreading test day too. It’s just too definitive isn’t it! I think I’ve decided to test before because I’m driving myself nuts today thinking it’s all over and at this point I think I’d rather just know. I think I’m going to test tomorrow and/or Saturday which will be day 9 & 10 for me.

I caved and tested yesterday and today and it came up positive. I'm worried though because the boots ones don't seem to be progressing (just staying the same) but the clearblue was very strong. I'm also having period like aches in my lower belly so I'm sure my period must be coming 🥺 I'm not getting my hopes up as previously had a mmc and have seen lots of women have chemicals on here.

Have you tested at all yet? How are you feeling? X

I think cramps are totally normal in early pregnancy I’ve seen so many people on here saying that’s the case and when you google it says it’s totally normal too. It will be your womb stretching and cleaning itself ready to be a home.

I didn’t test today. I got in a bit of a state last night and couldn’t stop crying so I couldn’t face the answer today. I might test first thing tomorrow morning. The only thing is, my husband is away for the weekend and so is my mum. If I take the test, either way I’ll be alone and have no one to tell and no one to comfort me. So I don’t know whether to just wait… it’s such a mind game 😒

My discharge is still the same, it’s hasn’t got lighter and I wake up with cramps which come and go in the day. My boobs have been sore the whole time and still are.

Have you got any other symptoms at this point? Has your discharge gone back to normal? X

I am happy but because I tested yesterday and this morning on the same test and there was no progression line I'm slightly worried, hence why I bought the clearblue, but that came up strong. I just can't fight the feeling that my period is going to come - praying so much that it doesn't.

I completely get why you wouldn't want to test, especially as you're on your own, I'd be the same. I'm still holding up hope for you and keeping my fingers crossed.

My symptoms are slightly tender breasts, achy period pain type feeling yesterday and today, and I keep feeling a little lightheaded. My discharge is pretty much normal now. With my last failed embryo the tenderness in my breasts had definitely decreased by day 7/8 so it's a positive sign that yours are still sore. X

I’m 10dp5dt as well and I too am scared to test. I’m trying to talk myself down from a panic and wait to test day. I have no words of comfort just to say you aren’t alone

I had my transfer on Friday. I don't have any symptoms too.. There is no discharge at all. I think it is one of the first signs . I don't understand why is so dry after having all those estrogen tablets and patches. Is there anyone there didn't have any discharge (literally none) and tested positive. From my previous experiences,I always have been tested negative

You would definitely know if it was discharge. The pessaries are peach colour.

I’m 37 weeks pregnant and I didn’t have any symptoms until I was 6/7 weeks pregnant!

Everyone’s different and most early symptoms are down to medication!

no symptoms at all during tww. Test day was 8dpt for me. I would strongly recommend to wait until test day if possible (I know it’s tough). Blood tests are way more sensitive vs HPTs. All the best!
