UPDATE : Scared to Test -11dp5dt

Update: 11dp5dt I held my breath test and took the test. Left it, went back after awhile and nervously peak and this is the results.

Still not sure how to feel. But know I am looking at a positive test.

Hey All,

My OTD is tomorrow, 12dp5dt. But I am so scared to test its unreal.

Parts of me want to test and get it over, and other parts want to remain in hope.

I am on so much Meds that I know AF won't come on its own. Others wise I wouldn't test and just wait.

After so many cycles and transfers I am shit scared.

Anyone feel or felt similar?

I guess I an just sharing here with those who understand.

Please send me positive vibrations.

I try to keep busy but so tired and sleepy from high dose of meds. Oh and I am eating alot from the steroids I am too.

I will get there as I have got to take the test whether I like it or not . The results will be known either way

I felt the same way after every cycle (have done 4). Most people seem to not be able to wait to test/ test early, but I was the other way.. to scared it would be negative and would rather delay knowing the outcome. I had no specific symptoms and felt differently every time, but got a bfp twice and a gorgeous baby boy at the end of it. Wishing you lots of luck 🍀 xx

That's it. I am beyond testing early. Infact, it seems I am beyond testing lol. After 6 cycles and lots of transfers, I am so traumatised, its unreal.

I am thinking might give urine to hubby to test for me. That might help.

I have sent of the bloods today, blood results should return in 2 days.

Yeyyy to your update! What a great line! Think you only ever go from one anxiety to the next with IVF and pregnancy, but you’re over the first hurdle and can only take things one day at a time. Sending loads of positive wishes for a smooth and easy pregnancy 🍀 xx

For my 6th transfer I couldn't test at home either. I was so scared. So I didn't, and waited for the blood results. Somehow it felt easier to be told than to look at a test myself.

When the nurse called to tell me it was positive she couldn't believe I'd not tested and I literally just melted in to a puddle on the floor.

Really nerve-wracking. It does feel like that . Like the potential heart break is stronger than the potential positive. This journey really knocks us.

Congratulations! I'm about a week ahead of you and feel exactly the same. I have found the wait after the OTD to the scan much harder than the 2ww. I'm taking each day as it comes but have started testing everyday just so I can enjoy being pregnant one day at a time. I feel like the whole thing is a cruel trick and don't believe the result. I hope you take the time to chill and absorb what is going on. I was literally about to give up xx

Congratulations to you and hubby! Looks like a strong line you got there… looked like mine before. I was scared of testing too on my OTD morning but then I thought I needed to get up and get it done and over with and was convinced it was a negative as I bled 4 consecutive days. But yes, I got a strong line and I ended up giving birth to twins 31 weeks later! They are nearly 8 months old now. Best of luck to your pregnancy and motherhood. Xxx
