I don’t have a happy ending yet… but just wanted to say I know what you’re going through… I’ve just had my 13th embryo transfer (17 embryos transferred in total I think??) and still no baby to show for it. It’s hard. Sending a virtual hug x
Hope this is your time 🤞. I’ve so far transferred 7 embryos no luck. Just about to do my second egg collection. Fingers crossed for everyone in the same boat xx
Hi,I've had 9 embryos transferred over 5 transfers, all BFNs. I had a melt down and decided there was something wrong with me and went to the top ultrasound person in the country this week and he just said, there is nothing here that should stop you getting pregnant, sometimes it takes a lot of goes for it to work.
Hopefully this time is your time. I know what you're going through, so I'm sending you a massive virtual hug and some positive energy.
Hello lovely,My situation wasn't the same but one of my best friends had 25 embryos transferred (I don't know over how many transfers but the last two transfers she transferred 3 embryos each) and her son was the last transfer she decided she would ever do. She was in her early forties, had been trying for 9 years and had unexplained infertility, with very high AMH and always getting good number of blastocysts and really high quality , apparently, but they wouldn't stick. She really helped me a lot throughout my own infertility journey as well. Thinking of you xxx
Hi hoping2021 how did you get on, if that's ok to ask?
I've just had my 9th transfer (am in the TWW) and no baby yet. All single transfers for medical reasons. I'm 43 now, started at 41 (4x ECs, 2 aged 41 and 2 aged 42). Looking back now I can say I should've banked and done PGS but I didn't have the funds at the time to bank - I'm doing this solo, all self-funded and donor sperm is a big extra cost!
Of course I hope this one will succeed especially as it's the last transfer with my own eggs unless I do another EC. It's the lowest graded yet, but then I have transferred AAs, ABs and BAs with no luck so who knows. This one is 4BB/C (the extra letter is because the outer cells are on the cusp of B/C grading).
I've seen one BFP, but it was a chemical. That was after transfer 3. It's incredibly tough to keep going. For this last go the clinic added a round of doxycycline pre-transfer and I'm on prednisolone too. Who knows if it'll work but feel I want to try everything.
