I had a frozen embryo transfer yesterday (5AA and hatching). It’s our last frostie so feeling very anxious about it.
A few hours after I got home I started having cramps and then went to the toilet and there was some fresh red blood. I called the clinic and they said to keep an eye on it, but that it’s probably just “trauma and irritation” from my cervix.
I didn’t have any cramps/bleeding in my last transfer, so I’m just wondering if anyone’s had it before and if it was ok?
I have cervical issues (incompetent cervix) so even if it’s just cervical trauma/irritation I’m still a bit nervous 🙈 I have a transabdominal cerclage (TAC) so I did warn them it might be a bit difficult to do (it was a different Dr who did my transfer this time, and the last Dr did a mock transfer during EC). I just feel like they didn’t really listen to my concerns and now I’m all anxious.
Many thanks in advance! ❤️

Hey, I had lots of cramps and a fresh red bleed after my transfer, i was very uncomfortable from the procedure but was reassured it was normal. The cramps went away the day after and I only had that one episode of red bleeding the day of the transfer. It felt like I was starting my period!
No problem! I found the transfer a bit painful so was expecting some bleeding and cramps. It turned out okay for me and was a success so I wouldn’t read too much into it. Sending you lots of luck ❤️
Ahhhh. Thanks so much!! 😬😬🤞 I’m so nervous!! No idea how I’m going to wait to test 🙈🙈 xx
I also had this after transfer and all went well.x keeping everything crossed for you. Now time to put your feet up, watch some cheesy telly and just go about your day to day activities to try & take your mind somewhere else for a wee while.xx
Ah - thanks so much for the reassurance. So pleased all went ok for you ❤️ I’ve been trying to relax as much as possible, while still having to work! 🙈 I’m on annual leave after today until the 10th, though, and we are going camping. Hopefully that will give me some headspace and some chilled feelings! 😊🤞 xxx
