Brown discharge after period

Hi,

Hope you are all doing good.

I had a failed hpt last month then before my Otd(20June) I started to bleed had my withdrawal bleed (what I think) then on 29th June I started to spot very dark brown discharge while wiping and in liner.I thought may be it is the drug and will go away but it is consistent and still I am having the same thing,there is no pain or cramps.

I have never experienced this between my cycles normally or with ivf cycles too,also I have regular cycles which is why I am nervous.

Has this happened to anyone of you,is it normal or alarming.I have mentioned this to my clinic today,they asked me to do a pregnancy test and from there they are going to take it.

Hi Star. So sorry to hear this. It can take up to 3 cycles for your period to return to what is normal to you. Brown blood is old blood and couldeven be caused by some irritation or infection. If it carries on then speak to your GP/clinic. Hope it soon settles. Diane
