Hello ladies, first time posting 🙋🏽♀️ it’s been really encouraging reading all your posts and replies. You guys are amazing and so brave 💪🏽
I wondered if any of you would be kind enough to share any success stories of having a 3 day transfer with two embryos? I had my transfer on Saturday (earlier than I had hoped of course) and was very shocked that they decided to transfer two eggs! One 7 cell and one 6 cell. Totally unprepared for that! I’m 34 and they made a MASSIVE point at the info session of not wanting to transfer two embryos in women under 40, in fact the embryologist said it very rarely happens 😳 so yeah, I’m confused. Feeling like I have no hope.
I know I am blessed to have had any eggs to transfer at all, so trying so hard to be positive but I’m a mess 😩 I’m in the dreaded 2ww right now and instead of staying away from google I’m actually googling my a$$ of and scaring myself to death.
Thank you in advance xx

Hello hun. I had a three day transfer with 3 embryos! I am currently 11weeks pregnant with just one little baby. I am a firm believer that the the best incubator is your womb. Good luck with the 2 week wait crazies lol. Xx
Hi Emma, thank you for taking the time to reply and share your awesome news 🙏🏽 congratulations on your pregnancy!! 🥳 how beautiful! It can be so hard to come to terms with not having a blastocyst to transfer, how did you manage the 2ww craziness? Xx
Hi Cinderella, That’s so encouraging to hear 🤗. I have been feeling like no point in being hopeful as have read so many articles saying transferring two at day 3 has less success. I’m going to keep my head up and think positive now I know it can happen! Xx
That’s so encouraging, thank you Lowamh. Congratulations on your twin pregnancy 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙏🏽 I’ve just read back in one of your older posts and I swear I could have written it myself! I love this forum xx
Hello! I had 2 transferred on day 3. One 8 cell and one 7 cell. I have a very low AMH at 34 so we all decided it was the best thing to do. I’m now 26 weeks pregnant with my little boy. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻✨Xx
Hi when you read online it manly talks about the 5 day transfer. When I got a 3 day transfer I felt a bit disappointed as the success rate is better with 5. However the doctors want it to work for you and they know best so they must have felt it would be the best chance. As someone else has said your womb is the best incubator. Good luck to you xx
Hello Edinburgh12, thank you for replying. I was so disappointed when I got that call. I’m not sure what everyone else’s clinic is like but mine are really good at giving you the least information or explanations for anything 😕 but I agree that they do know best and no I can see that they were trying to optimise my chances of success. Clearly I’ve had a wobbler but do think it would have been nicer to have understood the decision more 🤷🏽♀️ I like the idea of the womb being the best incubator and I’m holding onto this comment with all my strength 🙇🏽♀️ thanks you xx
I feel the same about finding out information. If I ask a question they will explain it and spend time going over things but I think it is easy for them to fall into the role of it being their job and doing it so frequently, however for us it is our first time getting our heads round everything. When do you find out if it has worked? Will have everything crossed that it has worked.I am getting a blood test on Thursday so will know then. Decided not to do a test at home and just wait on the blood results xx
Yes, I hear that. I have felt like just a number a few times during appointments but I do think it’s easier for them. They must get so desensitised. I always feel like they would rather me not ask any questions but mostly I do lol. This is a big deal to us ladies!
My OTD is 2nd November, feels soooo far away!
Good luck for yours on Thursday! I admire your discipline 🙏🏽❤️❤️ hope you get your positive 🤗 xx
Hi, I had one fresh 3 day put back and I now have a 15 month old son. So it can happen even with lower odds, he was my only one viable from that cycle as well so we were doubly lucky xx
We didn’t even make day 3! The baby on my lap is a day 2 embryo- neither embryos were very good... they explained it’s not an exact science, some of the best looking blastocysts don’t make babies and some of the ropiest day 2 embryos surprise them! My consultant said day 5 is great if you have lots to choose from but as I didn’t they said put them back in their natural environment... Don’t lose hope, good luck xx
Woah, how amazing! That’s so encouraging to hear. I can imagine how happy you must have felt when you got your BFP! Definitely not losing hope now I’ve heard your inspirational story. Thank you xx
Hi, I had two 5 day embryos transferred and am now 17 weeks pregnant with one! Was nervous about twins but when I got the positive result I no longer cared, was just so excited x
Currently 12 weeks with 1 baby after a day 3 transfer of 2 embryos. Also got pregnant after same on our first round, but sadly went on to lose that little one early on. So it can definitely happen!! Wishing you loads of luck 🍀 🍀 xx
How wonderful! Congratulations on your pregnancy 🥳🙌🏽 I’m feeling so much better hearing this and lots more optimistic instead of thinking I’m out already 😭 thank you for replying xx
Good luck ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Try and stay off Google - short walks and binge watch a new series 😍
You are so right, I know when I’m doing it that I’m doing myself no favours googling like a mad woman 🤦🏽♀️ *opens Netflix immediately* 😊 thank you for replying xxx
Hi there! Sure. Sadly this particular round didn’t work out. However, we tried again in June 2020 and had 2 x embryos transferred again on day 3 and it was a success! I’m now 29 weeks pregnant with one wiggly baby and all is going well 🥰. Feel free to ask any other questions, I’d be very happy to answer x
Aww nicoma thats brilliant news, wishing you all the very best. Im currently in same boat, had 2 3 days transferred and to do test next sunday so fingers crossed xx
