I had the results of my last eggs retrieval, 4 embryos day 5 of 5 eggs retrieved, I'm happy with the result , now I took decapeptyl 3,75 so we do a kind of artificial menopause before transfer.
As my first round of ivf resulted with three day3 embryos and 3 failed transfer , I'm still kind of worried it will not work again. Unfortunately on my country the PGT and the nk cells tests are not available, and I was wondering if it's OK to take steroids and do intralipid infusion even if I don't do the tests to see if I need them.
I suffer from endometrial cysts and all others tests came back normal dna fragmentation came back normal too.
Anyone was advised to take steroids after reccurent implantation failure ? Did it change the outcome ?

That's a great result congratulations!I had 6 chemicals and now went through IVF in Turkey. Due to the number of failed pregnancies I was on the same protocol you've described, steroids, intralipid infusion, I'm also on aspirin and blood thinners and I had Gonapeptyl injection twice before my transfer. On top of that last month I had a dissolvable implant injected to induce artificial menopause. I will let you know on Monday on my OTD if all that has helped 🙈But I know in Turkey for example is a common practice to use steroids and have the infusion as they believe this gives the embryos better chance of survival. They also have quite good success rates XXX 💗😍🌻🍀
I just read your post , interesting 😍, I will ask my doctor if we can add this to the fet protocol, you started taking steroids after fet during 2ww or also before ?
I was taking them from the first day of the fet protocol, until 12 weeks of pregnancy..I also took them during the stimulation phase ( since I was a poor responder) and for the first time I got 2 blastocysts from 4 eggs! In that article on my wall it is said that steroids can also improve the response to the stimulation which turned out to be true in my case..But, more importantly, they resolved recurrent implantation failure and that’s what’s important for you since you already have great number of embryos..🤗 so, for you, the most important is to take them from the first day of the fet cycle until 12 weeks of pregnancy🤞🏻🍀❤️good luck, lovely!!
And the first intralipid infusion, I got a day before the transfer.. the next one after the positive test, and the following one when we heard the heartbeat ( at 8 weeks I think)...
I was just thinking, I did have regular CBC and metabolic panel from the blood before each transfer, so maybe those are important. My mom told me ( since she’s an MD) that regarding intralipid infusions, it is important to have ALT and AST parameters of the liver in the normal range..
