What to do on transfer day?
Hey!
So I didn’t get to eat before transfer day as mine was a morning transfer, afterwards I ate lots of pineapple, pomegranates, had a salad for lunch & ate lots of proteins! Iv been trying to keep eating my 5 a day! Iv stayed away from caffeine & just ate more veg!
Iv been sleeping on my side or back trying not to sleep on stomach although I’m not sure it really matters (don’t quote me on that though)
They do say intercourse the night before is good as it can improve implantation rates and successful pregnancy’s ! (Again that’s what Iv heard)
Ps. Don’t forget your McDonald’s fries 🍟 🤍
Goodluck! 🥰
I had 6 transfers total (2 pregnancies) and honestly I found out that nothing can effect the outcome, if it's a good embryo it will implant. And I think it made me feel better that I can't do anything to ruin my chances, it's just a waiting game.
Good luck!
They want you to move around at least in a light capacity. You should follow the nhs what to eat in pregnancy but otherwise just eat what you want. I was on a low carb diet at the time which I kept on throughout the 2WW as it felt quite healthy but gave up when I had a BFP. No issue about the way you sleep or sit it’s whatever is comfortable. Staying relaxed and unstressed is the name of the game at this point not any kind of positions. Take it easy and good luck!
Nothing you do is going to change the outcome so just crack on as normal. Evidence is supportive of keeping active, my clinics advice is within the range of normal activity for you so perhaps not taking up marathon running if you’ve never run before but if you’re usually fit and active you can remain so. There is no evidence that hot baths, sex etc prevent implantation. Staying well hydrated is important and taking your prenatal vitamins. I’ve never made any changes post transfer I’ve had 6 and 3 pregnancies. I went to a yoga class the afternoon of transfer with one of my successful ones!
