Sitting in A&E...

Wondering to myself what happened in less than an hour. I went for my viability scan which was amazing with the little heartbeat. On the way home I started bleeding heavily with clots and terrible pain and vomiting. I'm just beside myself thinking what the hell happened. Been waiting hours now just to get myself checked out. I'm convinced my little bean is gone and I'm left blaming myself.

I'm so sorry to hear this ❤️ there could be lots of reasons for the bleeding though. I passed a clot and bleeding just before a scan and all was well. It's so worrying of course. Hopefully it's something completely innocent. Good idea to get checked. Let me know how you get on you're not alone ❤️💫🙏

Thank you darling! It was a shock to the system having that experience but thankfully, I am still pregnant and at 6 weeks the heartbeat is looking strong x

Thinking of you and hope averaging was ok? Bleeding after scans can be really common in the early days, it might be that a mild haematoma or cervical ectopian was dislodged during the scan. All the extra oestrogen and progesterone for IVF cycles makes us prone to extra bleeding.

The doctor thinks that it might have been a haematoma. I've increased the progesterone now and no working until Thursday 😊

Hey everyone, thank you for responding and sending through all the love and positivity. It has worked because I had a second scan today and everything is looking good😭. I've gone through all the emotions known to man in the last 24 hours and I am exhausted!

I hope my experience helps someone else who may have the same issue realise that it doesn't mean the end.
