One complete IVF cycle done with no positive result- what to do next?

Dear readers,

( Is it so obvious I am a fan of Bridgeton haha)..

I have done an egg retrieval in Sept, had 13 mature eggs, 11 fertilised, 5 blastoctys, 2 euploid. I transferred two single FET ( one chemical, one negative). Have done immune tests , ERA/Alice/ emma tests, all kind of blood tests at a very good clinic.

I am really let down as I did my best and still no result. I am very demotivated and perplexed what to do next.

Should I trial a fresh transfer? Should I try a double transfer? should I change the clinic?

We will do more treatments but not prepared for another letdown after another. It is mentally exhausting!

This is such a tough journey!

Hugs to you all sisters xx ❤️

Don't get disheartened, I had 6rounds of IVF and 7transfer, 3 negative, 2 chemical, 2 miscarriage. But still I m hopeful and planning my next trasfer. Plan your next cycle with positive mindset, follow advise of your dr.

Do what is best for you. Everyone's circumstances are different but the pain of failure is something that we can all sympathise with. Just pace yourself and make sure that you are completely ready. Best of luck xx

I’m really sorry, I know it’s so tough. But sadly this is to a large extent a numbers game, and having no positive result from one round is really common….. You can change clinics, and you can do a double transfer if the doctors are happy with that. But the main thing is just to go again …. It’s super tough, but you need to persist 💪🍀🤞 we’re with you x

I know how you feel but don't lose hope!I had 4 fresh cycles and 2 frozen (6 transfers in total)

I would transfer great looking embryos but they won't stick and no one knows why! (also I can only do 3rd day transfers)

Keep at it and it'll work!

And you technically only underwent 1 round since you only did one egg collection!

You need minimum 3 rounds of egg collection with no succes to start worrying!

I know its disheartening, but you've only had one full round. It took us 3 full rounds for our fresh transfer to be successful. It's a numbers game sadly, but you just need to keep going until you get there. xx
