Morning everyone

Sorry me again... obsessing ! Stupidly starting early testing on day 5 post embryo transfer. Had a squinter of a line so obviously kept testing. Today's is the darkest yet but still faint. Should it be darker by now? I've read lots of threads where faint lines seem to mean chemical pregnancy so I'm terrified now. This is my first ever BFP and first cycle so completely new to this. Please be truthful as I've initially be so ecstatic but want to prepare myself mentally if a chem pregnancy is likely.

Thanks πŸ’œ 😊 πŸ«‚ πŸ™

Hi lovely, ah the early test torment - I get it - I am the same! The bottom line is, a line is a line.... So I am whispering congratulations πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»βœ¨ Just to share my experience, with my chemical (on a frozen transfer lats year) I tested faint positive from day 5 then it got a bit darker over a few days, by day 9 it had faded away.

I would skip a day of testing now if I were you (I know it's hard) and then see if it's darker in 48 hours.

Some people said to me why did I test early that cycle, but I would never have know about chemical / my little embryo giving it a go, if I hadn't. So I'm glad I did.

I hope this is the real deal for you!! I have seen lots of posts where a faint line for ages then it eventually got darker and went onto a healthy pregnancy πŸ₯°πŸ™πŸ»βœ¨ good luck and keep us posted x

Thanks for the advice. So hard to try by chilled and just wait. My husbands even getting annoyed !! I'm super obsessive and like to be on control so I've found everything about this process pretty hair pulling! I'll try and wait 48 hours like you suggested. It's so hard when you want something so badly. πŸ’š

So sorry to hear about your chemical 😞

For me your tests are not looking like a chemical. I had 3 chemicals in the past so I know how it looks on the tests. Be optimistic you are heading in the right direction πŸ˜‰ Congratulations πŸ₯°β€οΈ

Sorry to hear about your chemicals. But thank you for the supportive words. I do need to be more optimistic... it's so hard to find the balance - all I want to be is excited but bracing myself just in case!! x

It looks although things are going in the right direction. Your hCG only doubles every 48-72hrs so if you can bear it try testing every 2 days. Also the FRER are super sensitive and the doubling is small numbers at the beginning and they also get darker as they dry so today's line will probably darken slightly as time goes on.....this is from another control freak early tester!!πŸ€£πŸ™ˆ Good luck.xx

I've been off for two weeks but back in work now which is a good thing to keep me distracted. Glad to hear I'm not the only serial tested! Being a control freak is hard isn't it!!?? xx

Hey hun. I really hope the lines getting darker each day for you. Unfortunately in my case it started disappearing from day 9 ish so I knew it was a chemical. I shared a post about it with the picture of my tests. Fingers crossed for you xxx
